In order for a student to successfully complete this course an initial level of English
proficiency of IELTS 5.5 is necessary. Proof of proficiency should be provided.

please check with your Embassy or the website www.immi.gov.au.
Enrolment requirements:
- Trainee must be over 18 years of age.
- Confirmation of fees paid
- Electronic Confirmation-of-Enrolment (e-CoE Form) sent to DIAC for VISA application
International Students with school-aged dependants accompanying them, must show
enrolment and fees paid to a government or non-government school. Please note non-government school attendance will include additional fees. For education services please visit the following three websites:

On application students must forward the completed Application for Enrolment Form, the Student Language Survey, copies of their IELTs band Score, all relevant education and training documents along with any previous work experience testimonials.
After commencement of the course students may apply to DIAC (a fee is payable) for a working permit for up to 20 hours per week. Working hours are not to coincide with College time table.
Students must attend an Orientation day prior to commencement of the course where
relevant health insurance and enrolment details will be processed.
College Regulations:
- Student must conform to the college rules
- Participation in course activities is compulsory
- Absences must be reported each day of non attendance
- Doctor’s certificate or written explanation required for unattended days
- Change of address or contact details must be given within 7 days
- DIAC has to be notified of the above, and less than 80% attendance
Fee Protection:
Fees paid by international students are protected under the Overseas Student Tuition Assurance Scheme (OSTAS) operated by the Australian Council for Private Education (ACPET) of which Madame Korner College is a member. Fees paid in advance are protected by Grubers Beckett Chartered Accountants.
Cost of Living:
Students will need to allocate approximately $250+ per week. (excluding accommodation and school fees.)
